35 hours per week; SACS Award Grade 4, (Modern Award Section 2B) Full time or part time.
CCA is a busy, non-profit community organisation. An established program to assist migrants and refugees settling in the Lower Northern Sydney area. A full description of the position is available here.
Essential criteria: Tertiary qualifications in social work or related fields, understanding of settlement issues, knowledge of government and non-government networks and services, knowledge of legislation and policy for people with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, demonstrated team work, planning, verbal and written communication, and community development skills, demonstrated experience in cross cultural communication, ability to work within the environment & principles of CCA, current driver’s licence and reliable car.

A police records check will be conducted for the successful applicant.
Desirable criteria: bilingual/bicultural.
Program funded by the Department of Immigration & Citizenship. Position guaranteed until 31st August 2011. Continuation of program dependent upon continued funding
