Family Day Care

Philosophy
Christian Community Aid Family Day Care recognises the right of all children and their families to high quality, affordable childcare: the right to a safe, secure, warm, positive, fun-loving environment in which a child’s individual, family and cultural needs are recognised and respected.

What is Family Day Care?
Family Day Care is personal care. No more than five pre-school aged children and up to seven children under the age of 12 are cared for in Family Day Carers’ homes. Family Day Care is an organised and monitored system of child care supported and funded by the Federal Government. CCA Family Day Care is licensed by the NSW Government and Accredited High Quality by the Federal Government. Click here to read or download our Family Day Care brochure.

Becoming a Carer
Family Day Carers are small business operators, working from home with a small group of children. We are looking for people who are prepared to work as part of a highly motivated, dynamic team to provide a high quality child care service.

Carers are warm, caring, energetic and flexible people who enjoy working with children.

They must live in a house or a townhouse/villa, have a safe environment and be prepared to comply with regulations, policies and Quality Assurance requirements.

To apply to become a Carer:
Phone us on 9874 0066 and we will send you an information package or complete the online form. Attend an Information Session at the service.

Carers are carefully selected and thoroughly checked including a Working with Children Check for themselves and other adults in their household.

Contact us on 9874 0066, email debbie.koura@ccas.org.au

The Commonwealth Government provides financial support for this Family Day Care service under the Child Care Services Support Program.
